Angie made her way through the school, up several staircases, and down long hallways until she found the place she was looking for. It was an old abandoned classroom; nobody seemed to know about it. Angie sort of claimed it for herself; she went in there when she needed to be alone, or to think. But tonight, she was going to use it for a sleepover for her and her best friend, Emily Walker.
She knew that if she ever got caught, she would be in heaps of trouble, for wandering around after hours. But she didn't really mind. The luminosity 6th year girls dorm got kind of crowded sometimes, and Em and Ang needed a sleepover with just the two of them.
Entering the classroom already in her favorite pajamas; blue tank top, black sweats, and blue fuzzy slippers, she put her hair up in a messy bun, then pulled her wand out. With a flick of her wand, the floor became soft and matress-like, perfect for sleeping or sitting. Another flick of her wand congered up lots of pillows, all blue and white; the luminosity house colors, which also happened to be here favoite. Taking a seat on one of the squashy pillows, she flicked her wand again, and a variety of chocolates and other snacks appeared. It was going to be perfect. Now, all she had to do was wait for Em.
Emily dashed down the hall, the sound erasing charm she used was wearing off and she still had to get past the school caretaker, Mr. Kotrz. She reached the hall that led to Angie's secret classroom and peered around the corner, a few strands of hair falling from her ponytail. There he was tormenting one of the painting, laughing as he tipped it left and right. She wrinkled her nose, thinking, Nasty old man. She pulled her wand out of her sweatshirt pocket and pointed it in the opposite direction she was . She muttered a spell that sent a small firework down the hall and as she did she hid behind a suit of armor, praying it didn't start talking to her.
Mr. Kortz ran down the hall, muttering about students and missing the old punishments and Emily just shook her head, taking off down the hall. She reached the classroom just as she heard Kortz making his way back down the hallway and she slipped inside, quickly locking the door and casting the same sound muting charm over the room. She turned around and smiled at her best friend. Ange had already gotten everything ready for their sleepover and it was perfect.
Emily didn't know what she would have done if she hadn't met Ange their first year. Since that meeting, they had been inseparable and Emily wouldn't have it any other way. She loved Angie like a sister and would adopt her if she could.
She walked over and plopped herself in front of Ange, pushing up the sleeves of her sweatshirt, and crossing her legs, indian style, her gold capris glinting in the lamp light. She huffed out a breathe and chuckled some. "Sorry I'm late. Every teacher and their cousin was out in the hall tonight, after you left it seems and I just had to send Kortz on a run just to get down here." She smiled again.
Angie was very happy to see that her best friend in the whole world had made it to her empty classroom safely, looking like she hadn't been caught by any teachers. Emily was one of Angies favorite people ever, and she didn't know what she would do without her. Since the first day that had met, they had done everything together. And oddly enough, they even looked kinda similar. They were like sisters, and most people mistook them as such.
"Sorry I'm late. Every teacher and their cousin was out in the hall tonight, after you left it seems and I just had to send Kortz on a run just to get down here." she heard her friend say. She chuckled. "Kortz is such a sketch!" she said, plopping a chocolate in her mouth
"Kortz is such a sketch!" Angie laughed. Emily nodded, laughing too as she ate one of the little sweets that Angie had conjured. "He's so mean. When I saw him just now, he was terrorizing one of the portraits, you now the one with all the old guys playing poker? Yeah that one, tipping it left and right! A nasty piece of work if you ask me." Emily nodded like she needed to reinforce her point. She looked serious for a moment and then giggled.
She took a sip of water from a goblet next to her and looked around. "This all looks great Ange. You are that best at conjuring." She smiled at the other girl, admiring her for that. Beside the fact that Angie was a master at conjering they were so similar, Angie and herself, that sometimes Emily wondered if they had been sisters to begin with. Or at least in a past life, not that Emily believed in all that, but it was peculiar sometimes on how much they had in common. But Emily didn't care. She had Ange and that's all she needed. "I'm so glad we pulled this off. The dorm was getting just a little too crowed." Which was true. Some of the girls in their year were, well to be nice, they weren't very nice. A quality you wouldn't expect from a Luminosity student, but hey, they didn't chose what house they were put in, the hat did. Emily personally though they needed a new hat, but hey she was just one opinion.
Angie smiled when Em complimented her. "Thanks. It was so fun, deciding where to put stuff." she said with a chuckle.
"I'm really glad we pulled this off too. I was getting so sick of everyone being total bitches and eavesdropping on every one of our conversations. I mean...god. Get a life." she said, eating a few more candies.
"Soo....I met someone...." she said, feeling her face brighten a little.
Emily nodded, agreeing with Angie. It got old and Emily honestly couldn't wait to get out of school and into the real world. But she suspected it wouldn't be as easy as school seemed to be. She grinned when Angie mentioned meeting someone. "Oh, Ange, who is he? What's he like? Oh! What house is he in? Where did you meet? Did you talk to him or did he talk to you?" Her questions left her mouth in a rush, her excitement obvious. Emily thought about telling Angie about Casper, but it was too soon to tell. She debated it back and forth in her head, but decided to tell her anyway.
She sat on her heels, scooting closer to Angie. "Tell me woman." She laughed. Emily only acted this way when she was around Angie, her natural curiosity getting the better of her and plus the fact that, Emily trusted Angie with everything and knew she would never make fun of her.
"Oh, Ange, who is he? What's he like? Oh! What house is he in? Where did you meet? Did you talk to him or did he talk to you?" she heard her best friend as a string of questions rapidly. She chuckled. Ang could not express her love for her best friend; she loved how she got all excited about guy talk. Angie got overexcited as well, considering she had never had a boyfriend in her life.
"His name is Nathan Russo. He's attractive, kind of quiet, mysterious. Kinda a typical bad boy attitude. He's in Dissemblance, and we met at the lake. I had gone down there 'cuz you know, I love the lake. And he was sitting there looking all sad. So I went over and tapped him on the shoulder, and asked if he was okay." she said, and she couldn't help but smile. She could feel the blood rushing to her cheeks as she talked about him.

Angie replied, answering every one of Emily question along with a blush that crept up her face. Emily smiled. and nodded, knowing that Angie was falling. She popped another candy in her mouth. "Sounds great Ange. I can't wait to meet him." She smiled sweetly and rolled the candy over her tongue before she spoke again.
"So I think I met someone too. Well actually he approached me, but I digress." She looked over at Angie, watching for her reaction.
Angie was a little out of it for a moment, spacing out, thinking about the day at the lake with Nate. How she felt rebellious and confident around him. The way he carelessly swept his bangs out of his face, his sexy appeal, his mysterious nature. Wow, she was falling hard.
"So I think I met someone too. Well actually he approached me, but I digress." she heard her best friend say, and snapping back to reality, she felt her face glowing with excitement for her friend.
"What's his name, how did you meet? Is he hott? Did you kiss him? Tell me everything! she exclaimed.
What's his name, how did you meet? Is he hott? Did you kiss him? Tell me everything! she exclaimed. Emily smiled. Just like Ange. She sat straighter and took a breath. "Well, he's in out house and yea he is so hot. Its Casper Estilli. A 7th year. And no we haven't kissed." She smiled some. "We met in the library and he asked what I was doing later and I really didn't have anything to do, so he asked if I wanted to go to a movie or dinner or something and I said yes." She blushed some. It was so out of character for Emily, but she was glad she did it. "I'm glad I did it though."
"We met in the library and he asked what I was doing later and I really didn't have anything to do, so he asked if I wanted to go to a movie or dinner or something and I said yes." Angie heard her best friend see, and she saw Emily blushing. She must like him a lot.
"Ohmygod, Em, what if we both get our first boyfriends?!" Angie exclaimed. The thought made her smile brightly, Angie had never had a real boyfriend before.
Ohmygod, Em, what if we both get our first boyfriends?!" Emily grinned and nodded. She remembered back to their first year at Salem and they would fantasize about their first boy friends, listing exactly what they wanted in a boy. She smiled more as she thought about their maybe boyfriends. Total opposite from who they were interested in now She leaned over and hugged Angie tight. "Ange, this year is going to be so great!"
Angie accepted the hug, and hugged her friend back in return. It really was going to be a good year, and the new oppurtunities she had found with Nate were endless. Could he be her true love?
"Did I tell you we kissed?" Angie said, attempting to sound casual, and failing. She felt her face lit up and she smiled brightly.
Emily's eyes widened as Angie nonchalantly asked if she had mentioned that they'd kissed. She smiled widely. "No you didn't mention it! Ange, I'm so happy for you!" She hugged her friend again, knowing that she must really like this Nate person. She sat back on her heels and ate another candy, the smile never leaving her face.
"It was sooo amazing Em. He kinda dared me to do it, so I did. And he said I tasted like candy and that I was intruiging....can you believe that? Me? Intruiging? I always thought I was pretty boring...." she said, but then realized she was getting off topic. "Then he asked me to go to Starborough with him!" she practically squeeled.

"So I hear you've been hanging out with Sarena Rockwell?" Angie said casually. Angie had absolutely no problem with Sarena, yet the seventh year dissemblance student seemed to really hate Angie, for no reason that Angie could think of.
She didn't mind that Em was hanging out with her, not in the least. Yet the fact that Sarena would talk to Em and not her was irking. What if Sarena was just trying to hurt Emily for some reason?

"So I hear you've been hanging out with Sarena Rockwell?"
Emily blinked and looked away, suddenly ashamed. She knew that Sarena didn't like Angie, but she couldn't help but think like talking to her. Sarena made Emily feel like she could do anything and everything, like she had in inhibitions, a feeling that was new and addicting to Emily. Spending time with Sarena had unlocked a part of Emily that she hadn't known had existed. And she found that she liked the rebellious side that was forming in her.
She looked back at Angie. "Uh yeah...We met when we were practicing Quidditch one day and just started talking..." She chewed on her bottom lips some, hoping that Angie would be mad at her.

"Ohhh, I see." Angie said, not really angry, but somewhat jealous. Sarena was everything Angie wished she could be; beautiful, confident, flirtacious, guys lining up to date her.
In a way, she was happy for Em. Despite the fact that Sarena hated Angie, maybe she could give Emily the confidence boost she needed. "I'm happy for you Em. It must be really cool hanging out with her." she said, with a genuine smile.

"Ohhh, I see." "I'm happy for you Em. It must be really cool hanging out with her."
Emily could hear some mix of emotion in her friends voice and cringed, knowing that she had put it there. She crawled over and wrapped Angie in a hug, wanting her to know that Sarena wouldn't come between them. "You know I love ya Ange. It just I feel like I found a new part of myself when I hang out with her. But she could never compare to you. She pales in comparison to you." She pulled away some, looking Angie in the eye. "You know that right?"
If Angie didn't want her to be friends with Sarena, Emily would stop on the spot, never wanting Angie to get hurt because of her. Her eyes searched Angie's own, waiting to see if that was how Angie truly felt.

Angie thankfully took her best friends hug, and then began ripping up a little peice of paper that had been in one of her previously consumed chocolates. Em was such a good friend, Angie kind of felt bad for even bringing up Sarena. But she did really want to talk about it. She opened another candy, and plopped it in her mouth. She chewed slowly, admiring its delicious taste. Once she had swallowed and removed all of the chocolate from her mouth, she spoke again.
"No really, it's okay. I really wish she would like me....I just want to know why she doesn't." she said, her insecurities coming to the surface.
