It was kind of late in the afternoon that James decided to leave the institute to go to the lake, even though he wasn't going to get in. He knew that since it was getting cold out that much people wouldn't be there, and it wasn't a surprise that when he arrived that there was nobody there. James liked the cold weather, the exact opposite of his brother Hayden who hated the cold. James walked by the edge of the lake and sat down.
There wasn't much going on inside so it was probably a good idea to come out here, even though he didn't like being alone, he was once told that sometimes one needed to be. "So bored...wonder wat Hayden's doing right now. Probably making out with some slut, that man whore." James said to himself as he picked up a near by stone and threw it into the lake, attempting to skip it but obviously failed. "He gets all the fuckin' action, ooo mister soon to be dark lord whatever.." James said in a sort of pissed voice.

Angie had decided to go for a walk down to the lake; it was a cool November afternoon, and the lake always offered some sort of peace and serenity for the blonde luminosity student. As she made her way towards the sparkling body of water, a cool breeze fanned out her blonde hair and made her want to smile brightly. She refrained, though, because it might have looked weird to some people.
When she arrived at the lake, she didn't really expect to see anyone, because of the odd hour, but there was somebody she recognized; James Orion. He was in her year, but in Dissemblance. Angie didn't judge, but she normally didn't get along well with people in that house.
Seeing as they were the only two around, she walked over to him, in an attempt to make it less akward. "Uh....hi." she said akwardly, sitting down next to him.

James who was previously in an ill mood switched to a more flirty one when he saw a girl approach him, at this point he didn't even care about asking her why she was out here at this time, all he cared about was how sexy she was. With his perverted and rude personality, there was no telling what he might do. "Uh....hi." She said to James.
He didn't recognize her, probably never seen her around seeing how Salem Institute was pretty big, and he didn't even have the decency to ask her for her name. "Oh hey.." James said nodding his head awkwardly. A silence then broke out again, with James just looking blankly into the lake. At this point all he wanted to know was how he was going to get this girl to love him quickly so they could make out or something, probably the only thing that was destroy his boredom.
"Um...wanna make out?" James said. Though he knew it was pretty stupid to just go and ask a girl that, he remebered how his brother did it once and it worked for him.

"Wanna make out?" Angie heard him say and she felt herself blush. She awkwardly looked down at her hands and pulled her knees up to her chest, and rested her chin on them. She had only kissed one guy in her whole life, Nate, in this very spot. But he had seemed to dissapear short after the occurance.
"Sorry, maybe if I actually got to know you." she said, trying very hard not to be rude. He seemed like the typical teenage boy; somewhat rude and desperate to get some. She laughed in her head at her witty thought.

James had just asked a very stupid and immature question, he was told by several people to stop trying to act like his brother, maybe it only worked for Hayden afterall. James much expected a different reaction from the girl, he had braced himself for a slap or something but to his luck it didn't get down to that.
"Sorry, maybe if I actually got to know you." She said. "Wow, sorry about that. But...thats it, you're not going to hit me or anything. Saw my brother say it to a girl and it worked so I thought, might as well try." James said with a little shrug of his shoulders. "So...what's your name, I'm James Reid." James said.

"Wow, sorry about that. But...thats it, you're not going to hit me or anything. Saw my brother say it to a girl and it worked so I thought, might as well try." Angie chuckled at this. "No, i'm not going to hit you. It was worth a shot I guess. Don't take me wrong, your cute and all, it's just, im not the type for a random hook up. Another time, maybe" she said, somewhat hoping she didn't hurt his feelings. Though it shouldn't matter if she did or not; he had asked a weird question. Angie was just that type of person; she felt bad about every little thing.
"I'm Angie Maxwell. I know who you are, we had potions together a few years back." that was another thing about Angie; he perfect memory. She remembered everything, and perhaps that was the reason why she was in luminosity.

James then came to the conclusion that all salem girls wasn't sluts afterall, most of the girls that he knew were, but there was something about the hard to get ones that he liked for some odd reason. "Don't worry about it, I like girls like that anyway." James said. Too bad he didn't have a way with words like his brother did, wooing her over wold be so much easier.
"I'm Angie Maxwell. I know who you are, we had potions together a few years back." Angie said. Perhaps she was, it sort of rung a bell in his head, his memory wasn't that good anyway. "Oh cool, love that class. And pretty name by the way. I think you have a sister that goes here right, I gotta older brother." James said.

"Don't worry about it, I like girls like that anyway." Angie blushed yet again. He was quite the charmer, this James. "Girls like what?" she said, generally curious. Not slutty? Prude? She wanted to know the word he would use to place it. Was there a potential flirtation going on here?
. "Oh cool, love that class. And pretty name by the way. I think you have a sister that goes here right, I gotta older brother." "Yup, my sisters name is Lucie. She's the grade below us...I haven't really seen her lately..." she trailed off. "Who is your brother?

James smiled as he saw Angie blush, he loved when that happened because it made him feel as if he was actually getting somewhere. "Girls like what?" She asked, probably curious because he didn't specifically explain what he meant by it. "Well, girls who aren't that easy to get. Don't get me wrong, I like easy girls just as much as the next guy but theres something about those ones that aren't as easy that just intrigues me, you know... like you." James said.
"Yup, my sisters name is Lucie. She's the grade below us...I haven't really seen her lately..." She said to him. Yes, Lucie he remembered seeing her around. It was pretty surprising that she didn't know his brother. "Oh, Hayden Reid...seventh year Luinosity. Though I don't see how, he's suppose to be in Dissemblance like me." James said to her. At this point his boredome had fully fleed, he could stay here and talk to her forever.

How could she be so easily embarrased. "Girls who aren't easy are probably better people. They generally have more respect for themselves. Plus, i'm just really shy." she blurted out, hoping she wasn't being to forward.
. "Oh, Hayden Reid...seventh year Luinosity. Though I don't see how, he's suppose to be in Dissemblance like me." Angie thought for a minute, and the name did ring a bell. Hayden Reid; rumored that he was attempting to try and round up some followers and become some kind of dark lord. It somewhat worried Angie, but she also knew she couldn't believe everything she heard. "Oh yeah, I've heard of him. Do you know why he's in luminosity instead?" she asked, making more conversation.

"Girls who aren't easy are probably better people. They generally have more respect for themselves. Plus, i'm just really shy." She said. Everything she just told him made sense, they probably did have more respect for themselves, James then suddenly felt remorse for ignorantly asking her to make out with him just like that. "Guess you're right. You seem like a good person. Yeah, I understand...I used to be shy too, like from my first to fourth year. Then, I don't know...guess I just got way more bold since then." James said to her.
"Oh yeah, I've heard of him. Do you know why he's in luminosity instead?" She asked. So she did know him, James thought that he had something to pick on his brother about, he would have told him that there's a pretty girl that he doesn't know in the school afterall. Hayden believed that he knew all the hot girls in the school, always bragging about it to James. Angie wanted to know why he got chosen into luminosity rather than dissemblance. "Hmm...I guess his obsession for learning new things and his cleverness outweighed his cunning and ambitious side." James said.
Suddenly his mind flipped to what his brother had told him about him becoming dark lord. There were a few rumors going around about it but nobody was sure at least, Hayden didn't want this. James wanted to tell alot of his friends but the thought of what his brother might do to him made him stop. This girl, Angie, something made James want to tell her. Maybe she was one that heard a couple of the rumors that were going around.

"My shyness can be quite a problem at times....I normally don't speak my mind. How did you get over it?" she couldn't really imagine this guy ever being shy; he had asked her to make out the second they met. Maybe Angie should start randomly doing things like that.
"Hmm...I guess his obsession for learning new things and his cleverness outweighed his cunning and ambitious side." "Oh I see. Well, I've also heard some...interesting things about him." she said, wondering if he would take the hint about the dark lord thing. She doubted he would tell her if he knew anything, and she really hoped he didn't get mad; maybe it was something he didn't want to talk about.
