Yes it was November, yes it was cold and yes Jamie knew she was going to regret it later. But right now Jamie had the urge to go swimming... in the lake. Even though generally around this time of year the lake would begin to freeze over or at least would be very cold she still wanted to go swimming in it. At least it was a weekend so she couldn't get in trouble off of teachers for swimming in the lake and being out of class. Jamie had no idea why she wanted to go swimming in the lake, as a matter of fact she had no idea why she even wanted to be outside when normally she would prefer to be in the common room snuggled up near the fire with her phone or with something else to do.
A dare came back to her mind when she was just a first year, when she heard someone say that they would dare any of the first years to go in the lake in the winter, it wasn’t exactly winter and she wasn’t exactly a first year any more but Jamie wanted to follow up on this dare. Walking up to the edge of the lake she wandered round until she got to an area where she knew not as many people would see her strip down into her bikini. She hated people seeing her change; even getting changed on a morning bothered her so she would do it on her bed with the curtains closed. Once she was changed it wasn’t a problem but it was just the process that she hated people seeing.
Once Jamie had stripped down to her zebra striped bikini she didn’t waste any time in jumping in. As she expected the water was absolutely freezing and as soon as her body hit the hater Jamie immediately forgot how to breathe. It took her nearly a minute to actually regain her breath and manage to get her arms and legs working properly. By this time she had managed to make it further off shore and she had no idea why she was still in the lake. It was cold, she was cold and she wanted to get out. Actually she wanted to know what was at the bottom of the lake but she wasn’t that brave. Maybe next time she would have seen what was at the bottom of the lake… but only if she had someone with her.

Entia taking a walk by the lake on a cold November day. She heard that the lake is one of the most beautiful things to be seen. So she decide to go check it out, on her first weekend at the new school. Entia stared at the beautiful lake, and surrounded by orange, red and yellow trees. What a magnificent site it was. It seems like everything was at peace. Entia closed her eyes and listened carefully, to all the sounds of Nature. When suddenly she was disturbed but all load splash coming from the shore of the lake. Entia saw a girl about her age, swimming. But the girl didn't seem to like it, she got out fast and she looked freezing. ' i don't blame her, its November and freezing, what was that girl thinking?' thought Entia, as she started to walk toward her.

Jamie wasted no time in climbing out of the lake and sitting at the side of it instead. Slipping her coat back on. One day she might actually make it to the bottom without freezing to death, but that day wasn't today. She was just hoping that nobody had seen her, obviously they would have heard th splash but she was hoping that was it. Putting her clothes back on she sat against the tree and threw a pebble into the water to hear a deep sound as it plunged into the water.
Looking over her shoulder she saw a girl walking over, she seemed like a nice enough person, even though she had never even seen this girl before. That was strange, she normally saw a lot of people in one day, never said a word to them but she saw them on a daily basis. Waving at the girl she sat back against the tree. She took off her coat before pulling her dress back over her head. Maybe she should have brought a scarf or something else with her, a towel would have probably been a better choice but that didn’t matter. If she got pneumonia then she did. It wasn’t anything that couldn’t be cured.
(OOC:sorry about the shortness I only had 15 mins to write this)

Entia saw the girl wave to her, and Entia waved back. She kept walking toward the wet shivering girl against a tree. She wondered why this girl didn't bring a towel or anything but the cloths she came in. Now Entia wished she brought something heavier like a sweater to give the girl to dry off. But she didnt have anything but a long sleeve shirt on her back.
She reached the girl and stood above her. The girl must have put her cloths back on so fast, because there was water spots on her shirt where the bathing-suit was. A gush of wind blew Entia red hair across her face, probably making the girl even colder. Then she sat down next to the girl, she heard the crunch of leaves as she sat.
Entia thought of introducing herself but she had so many questions for the girl so she just got to the point and asked "why did you jump in the lake on a freezing day like today?" Entia gave the girl a strange looked. And waited for her response.
